From an idea to a global mission
CyberUpgrade’s story began on a hot day by the Mediterranean Sea, when Andrius Minkevičius, our CTO, shared an idea. A vision for bridging the gap between on-paper compliance and real operational security.
“At that moment, I didn’t fully grasp it,” recalls Aurimas Bakas, co-founder and CEO.
“We debated, discussed, and I wondered how this idea could transform into a valuable business. But Andrius was relentless. He had the spark and a unique approach to make cybersecurity both proactive and operational.”
Through continuous discussion and iteration, the idea evolved into a business model that delivers tangible value. Co-founding partners Nojus Antanas Bendoraitis and Algirdas Stasiunaitis brought complementary skills, helping to refine and adapt the concept with real customers.
Soon, a team of seasoned cybersecurity professionals joined the effort, bringing deep practical expertise to ensure the technology aligned with real-world security demands. Additional specialists contributed to developing robust processes, effectively communicating value, and delivering a solution that truly meets client needs.

Since its inception, the company has experienced significant growth. In 2025, we raised $650K seed funding, followed by a €2.5M round — accelerating our mission to make AI-driven cybersecurity accessible to all businesses.”

No more decoding controls yourself — Stream tells you what’s needed, and you simply respond. This tool is designed to reduce the burden of compliance by guiding, not overwhelming, making it easier for teams to stay on top of requirements while maintaining operational focus.
