First-time RoI submission

"Entering data through Copla and submitting it is straightforward — give it a try. The biggest advantage is for those who haven't filled in the register before."

The context

A new regulatory obligation, no prior process to build on

Revestus is an EU-regulated investment platform supervised by the Bank of Lithuania. When DORA’s ICT third-party reporting requirement came into force, they had no existing register to migrate or improve — they were filing for the first time.

For organisations in this position, the core challenge is not fixing a broken process but building something correct from the outset, without investing disproportionate time in understanding the underlying xBRL-CSV format and EBA register logic.

Simpler than expected — and submitted without issues

Honest feedback

Lithuanian language support would help

The team noted that a Lithuanian language interface would be a useful addition — particularly for institutions where compliance responsibilities sit with staff more comfortable working in Lithuanian than English. No other friction points were reported.

Worth noting for Lithuanian-supervised institutions: Revestus’s submission went through the Bank of Lithuania’s Regata system. Copla Registry supports this workflow directly — the xBRL-CSV export is generated in the format Regata expects.

In their own words

Who benefits most

"Entering data through Copla and submitting it is straightforward — give it a try. On the other hand, if all your data is already in Excel, updating it won't be a major challenge either way. The bigger advantage, in my view, is for those who haven't filled in the register at all before."

This is a practical assessment worth taking seriously. For organisations migrating a well-maintained existing register, the transition requires effort. For those starting from scratch — or those whose prior submissions were unreliable — Copla removes the hardest part: ensuring the structure, logic, and output format are correct before anything reaches the regulator.
